During the first period, Buller opened the scoring for Yellowstone with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 18:30 with helpers from Stewart and Walworth.
In the second, Buller netted a goal at 18:06 with helpers from his linemates, Stewart and Waszczenko.
In the third, Stewart put in a goal at 6:11 with an assist from defenseman Stewart. Stewart deposited a goal at 17:03 with assists from his teammates Walworth and Buller.
The Quake’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Waszczenko’s shutout, as he stopped all 39 of the shots he faced. Waszczenko’s counterpart, Sharp, also had a big night, managing to stop 35 of 39, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Yellowstone Quake’s record to (12-2-1-0).
