Quake Defenseman Nick Ligocki Commits to College

The Yellowstone Quake are pleased to announce that Defenseman Nick Ligocki has committed to play ACHA  hockey for Lewis University Flyers in Romeoville Illinois.

Ligocki, 20, just completed his third and final season playing  with the Quake. The 5’10/180 lbs. native of Chicago, Illinois is returning to his home state to continue his hockey career and education.

“I am super excited for the opportunity to continue everything that I started and learned with the Quake and take that to the next level in college”  said Quake Defenseman Nick Ligocki

Nick, a right handed defensemen for the Quake that ruled the ice by taking care of business with his gloves off while protecting the Defensive zone and the Blue Line as a standup defensive defenseman.

“Nick is a player that every coach wants and needs, the guy that sticks up for everyone on his team and will do anything for his teammates. He has developed tremendously throughout the last two seasons and has worked very hard to get there. I wish Nick the best of luck going forward” said Head Coach Ryan Theros
