Moore's hat trick helped the Quake crush the Icedogs 10-1

Jack Moore led the way with a hat trick as the Yellowstone Quake crushed the Bozeman Icedogs 10-1 in a home game at Riley Arena in Yellowstone. Mason Stewart, Riley Buller and Ethan Sievek also had big nights with 6 points (2 goals, 4 assists), 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists) and 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists) respectively. Furthermore, Jonatan Persson came up big, stopping 29 of 30 shots throughout the game. The Yellowstone Quake took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Mason Stewart and never looked back.

Ian Doner delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Justin Dumont contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Moore opened the scoring for the Quake with a goal at 8:52 with helpers from Stewart and Sievek. Stewart put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 13:52 with helpers from teammates Steyaert and Johnson. Moore netted a goal at 17:13 with assists from Buller and Stewart. Stewart deposited a goal at 19:53 with helpers from Dumont and Rasmussen.

During the second, Sievek scored a goal at 1:20 with an assist from Johnson. Moore put in a goal at 6:37 with helpers from Buller and Sievek. Ford netted a goal at 9:09 with an assist from fellow Quake forward Buller. Doner deposited a goal at 19:11 with helpers from Buller and Stewart.

In the third, Buller put in a goal at 4:56 with assists from Stewart and Moore. Stokes finally put Bozeman on the board with a goal at 7:45 with a helper from Boje. Dumont answered for Yellowstone with a goal at 10:06 with assists from Doner and Sievek.

The Quake’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Persson’s big night as he stopped 29 of the 30 shots he faced. Persson’s counterpart, Pehrson, also had a big night, managing to stop 68 of 78, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Yellowstone Quake’s record to (4-0-0-0).
