Coaching Staff



CJ grew up on the East Coast– living in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and the Washington DC area. He played his youth hockey for the Washington Little Capitals AAA and Ashburn Xtreme before matriculating to play Junior for the Baystate Breakers of the EJHL/EmJHL and the Junior Capitals of the AJHL/MJHL. CJ also played High School hockey for the Georgetown Preparatory School where he received all-conference and all-state honors over multiple seasons.

CJ began his coaching career for the Ashburn Xtreme winning a league championship and a State Runner-Up banner in his first year behind the bench. He followed this with a move out west to the Boulder Hockey Club and the Rocky Mountain LRR’s where he enjoyed similar success securing multiple banners for the program while receiving Coach of the Year honors over a 4 year span.

During his time in Colorado CJ earned his USA Hockey Level 5 Coaching Certification and served as a coach for USA Hockey’s Western Regional High Performance/Development Camp in Colorado Springs as well as his Hockey Director Certification from USAH N.A.R.C.E.

From there CJ moved to the Junior A level serving as a coach for the Texas Brahmas in North Richland Hills, TX where his team went on to a 34-5-1 record securing an NA3HL South Division Regular Season and Playoff Title as well as a berth to the Fraser Cup.

CJ prides himself on teaching cutting edge power skating and skill work across all levels while adhering to a very structured and detailed form of team play. 

In the off-season CJ currently resides in Superior, CO with his fiance Becca and their dog Avon.


Dan grew up playing AAA Youth Hockey in the State of Colorado. He then matriculated to Junior A hockey in Canada playing for the North Bay Trappers where he put up 45pts in 39 games. From there he moved on to the NAHL’s Bismarck Bobcats where he played 2 seasons amassing 102pts in 110 games. After his impressive Junior career Dan went on to play for Davenport University.

Following College, Dan Coached for Boulder Hockey Club and the Rocky Mountain Roughriders for 4  years– winning a State and District Championship along with a bid to USAH Nationals. He also won the State’s Avalanche Cup at the U14 Level. Dan is best known for his outstanding work in offensive skill development.
