Two Quake Players Drafted in USHL Entry Draft

Cody, WY The Yellowstone Quake are pleased to announce that two players were drafted in the recent USHL Entry Draft. Jake Doty a 1993 birth year forward was taken by the Sioux City Musketeers. The 6\’3 forward split last season with the Quake and the Seattle Thunderbirds of the canadian Major Junior circuit Western Hockey League (WHL).  While with the Quake, Doty contributed 20 goals and 23 assists in 39 games and appeared in 5 games with Seattle racking up 11 penalty minutes.
 
Dajon Mingo, a 2008-2009 member of the Yellowstone Quake was selected by the Fargo Force after a stellar season with the Kenai River Brown Bears and Wenatchee Wild of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). While in the NAHL Mingo appeared in 54 games netting 52 points on 21 goals and 31 assists.
