The Quake shutout the Icedogs 13-0

Jack Moore, Ian Doner, Mason Stewart and Ethan Sievek had big nights with 5 points (5 goals, 0 assists), 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists), 4 points (0 goals, 4 assists) and 6 points (0 goals, 6 assists) respectively as the Yellowstone Quake crushed the Bozeman Icedogs 13-0 in a home game at Riley Arena in Yellowstone. What's more, the Yellowstone Quake's offense had a big night, peppering Bozeman with 83 shots throughout the game, to go along with Reid Waszczenko's shutout. The Yellowstone Quake took the lead early in the first on a goal from Ian Doner and never looked back.

Iniaz Steyaert chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Timo Pelto did his part, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

In the first, Doner opened the scoring for the Quake with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 4:21 with helpers from his teammates Steyaert and Sievek. Steyaert deposited a goal at 11:19 with helpers from Doner and Sievek. Doner netted a goal at 14:30 with assists from Buller and Sievek. Moore put in a goal at 17:25 with assists from Johnson and Sievek.

During the second period, Moore scored a goal at 3:15 with helpers from Stewart and Rasmussen. Moore deposited a goal at 7:20 with assists from his linemates, Johnson and Buller. Pelto put in a goal at 10:54 with helpers from Doner and Stewart. Moore quickly followed with a goal at 11:37 with an assist from defenseman Sievek. Harris quickly followed with a goal at 12:44 with helpers from Sievek and Kitagawa.

In the third, Pelto netted a goal at 5:56 with assists from Stewart and Kitagawa. Johnson quickly followed with a goal at 7:06 with helpers from Kitagawa and Walworth. Steyaert deposited a goal at 17:49 with assists from his linemates, Ford and Pelto. Moore quickly followed with a goal at 19:31 with a helper from defenseman Stewart.

The Quake’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Waszczenko’s shutout, as he stopped all 25 of the shots he faced. Waszczenko’s counterpart, Orchard, also had a big night, managing to stop 36 of 44, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Yellowstone Quake’s record to (3-0-0-0).
