The Quake fall to the Junior Bruins 5-4

The Yellowstone Quake's defense had a poor night, allowing the Missoula Junior Bruins 79 shots throughout the game. The Missoula Junior Bruins took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Misha Akatnov.

Jack Moore delivered for his team with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Riley Buller had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists). Misha Akatnov contributed with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Cameron Cunningham chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first, Ford opened the scoring for Yellowstone with a goal at 1:41 with helpers from his linemates, Moore and Buller. Stewart put in a goal at 4:25 with helpers from Doner and Walworth. Zubkov finally put the Junior Bruins on the board with a goal at 12:36 with assists from Akatnov and Kirk. Dennison deposited a goal at 14:44 with a helper from his teammate Zubkov. Cunningham quickly followed with a goal at 15:55 with assists from his linemates, Moistner and Akatnov. Cottle scored a goal at 18:15 with a helper from Zubkov.

During the third period, Akatnov put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 5:49 with assists from his linemates, Zubkov and Cunningham. Buller answered for Yellowstone with a goal at 14:14 with helpers from his linemates, Johnson and Moore. Moore deposited a goal at 18:00 with assists from his linemates, Buller and Doner.

This loss brings the Yellowstone Quake’s record to (28-6-2-0).
