The Yellowstone Quake's offense had a big night, peppering the Bozeman Icedogs with 57 shots throughout the game. The Yellowstone Quake took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Tony Dahlberg and never looked back.
Pablo Pantoja contributed with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Cole Stewart delivered for his team with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists). Carmon Teel had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 goals and Casey Gobel chipped in with 2 assists.
During the first period, Pizzey opened the scoring for Yellowstone with a goal at 3:36 with helpers from his linemates, Pantoja and Johnson. Pantoja quickly followed with a goal at 4:10 with helpers from his linemates, Stewart and Meyer. Teel quickly followed with a goal at 5:29 with an assist from his teammate Gobel. Dahlberg quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 6:35 with an assist from defenseman Ligocki. Teel answered for Bozeman with a goal at 14:48 with a helper from fellow Icedogs forward Gobel.
In the second, Greenbush answered for the Quake with a goal at 6:55 with helpers from Ligocki and Ruschmeyer. Pantoja quickly followed with a goal at 8:41 with an assist from Stewart. Doner deposited a goal at 13:10 with assists from his linemates, Lawman and Greenbush. Stewart scored a goal at 17:32 with a helper from Lawman. Kelly quickly followed with a goal at 18:53 with an assist from defenseman Stewart.
In the third period, Johnson put in a goal at 11:34 with a helper from his linemate Doner.
The Quake’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Ottenbacher as he stopped 24 of the 26 shots he faced. Ottenbacher’s counterpart, Pehrson, also had a big night, managing to stop 15 of 18, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Yellowstone Quake’s record to (44-4-0-3)
