Stewart's and Buller's hat tricks helped the Quake crush the Icedogs 13-1

Cole Stewart and Riley Buller led the way with hat tricks as the Yellowstone Quake crushed the Bozeman Icedogs 13-1 in a home game at Riley Arena in Yellowstone. Also, the Yellowstone Quake's offense had a big night, peppering Bozeman with 65 shots throughout the game. The Yellowstone Quake took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Riley Buller and never looked back.

Jack Moore delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Carter Johnson did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Buller opened the scoring for the Quake with a goal at 2:10 with helpers from his linemates, Willoughby and Moore. Buller put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 6:19 with helpers from Stewart and Stewart. Ford deposited a goal at 15:08 with assists from his linemates, Johnson and Proffitt. Stewart quickly followed with a goal at 15:41 with helpers from his linemates, Doner and Pelto.

In the second period, Pelto scored a goal at 10:17 with assists from Ardite and Stewart. Buller quickly followed with a goal at 10:47 with helpers from his linemates, Willoughby and Proffitt. Willoughby netted a goal at 17:16 with assists from his linemates, Stewart and Buller.

In the third, Moore put in a goal at 1:24 with helpers from teammates Stewart and Buller. Johnson quickly followed with a goal at 2:42 with assists from his linemates, Proffitt and Ford. Stewart quickly followed with a goal at 3:53 with helpers from his linemates, Doner and Buller. Blatter finally put the Icedogs on the board with a goal at 5:58 with assists from his linemates, Boje and Huntley. Stewart quickly followed with a goal at 6:22 with helpers from his linemates, Doner and Pelto. Moore quickly followed with a goal at 6:37 with assists from Buller and Stewart. Harris scored a goal at 8:46 with helpers from his teammates Sievek and Dumont.

The Quake’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Waszczenko as he stopped 18 of the 19 shots he faced. Waszczenko’s counterpart, Stevens, also had a big night, managing to stop 39 of 48, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Yellowstone Quake’s record to (34-7-3-2).
