Reed Kelly picked up the assist. Runyon dished an assist on Justin Berezinski's goal that made the score 6-2 Yellowstone at 9:16 into the third period. He added another helper on Tristan Henrichs's goal that made the score 8-2 Yellowstone at 17:08 into the third period.
Yellowstone kept Glacier's goalie busy throughout the game, and Raymond Smith made 61 saves on 70 shots. Yellowstone's goal total was higher than its season average. This season, Yellowstone averages 4.9 goals per contest. The defensemen of Yellowstone were also effective in Glacier's zone, and came away with three goals.
