Quake tame Wild in playoff games

By NATHAN MEACHAM

The first two games of the playoffs went about as well as the Yellowstone Quake would have liked.

The Quake controlled both home games against Gillette to win 4-1 and 6-2, and build a 2-0 lead in the best of five series.

“They don’t match up well against us,” head coach Brad Zangs said. “They are a physical team, but we have seven guys that can score.”
