Quake Hire Assistant Coach

Ross Orrock will be entering his first season with the Yellowstone Quake.  In addition to his coaching duties, the strength training program, and video analysis, Coach Orrock will work extensively with the goaltenders this season.

Prior to joining the Quake coaching staff, Orrock spent the last five years coaching various off-season Minnesota high school AAA teams. Orrock also conducted goalie camps in his hometown of Elk River from 2005-2010 and coached the Duluth East Bantams to a regional runner up finish during the 06-07 season.

Before starting his coaching career Orrock played two years of varsity hockey for Elk River where he helped his team to the 2005 state tournament. Orrock also played varsity baseball where he was a two year letter winner. Orrock played one year of college baseball for the University of Wisconsin Superior during the 05-06 season before focusing on his coaching career.

Away from the rink Orrock enjoys Hunting, Fishing and playing softball for the Sunshine Depot. Orrock is a special education major and plans on finishing his schooling in the near future.

Orrock will be relocating to the Cody area in early August.
