Meyer's big night helped the Quake crush the Icedogs 8-1

Max Meyer had a big night with 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists) as the Yellowstone Quake crushed the Bozeman Icedogs 8-1 in a home game at Riley Arena in Yellowstone. Moreover, the Yellowstone Quake's offense had a big night, peppering Bozeman with 74 shots throughout the game. The Yellowstone Quake took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Matt Runyon and never looked back.

Jesse Lawman contributed with 2 goals and Matt Runyon did his part, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

In the first period, Pantoja opened the scoring for the Quake with a goal at 8:11 with helpers from teammates Ruschmeyer and Stewart. Runyon deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 13:41 with assists from Meyer and Stewart.

In the second period, Ligocki scored a goal at 3:04 with helpers from Berezinski and Johnson. Ruschmeyer put in a goal at 6:45 with assists from Kelly and Meyer. Lawman quickly followed with a goal at 7:07 with helpers from Doner and Yapello. Dulong finally put Bozeman on the board with a goal at 9:35 with assists from Charnholm and Teel. Runyon quickly followed with a goal at 10:34 with helpers from Kelly and Meyer. Lawman netted a goal at 15:23 with an assist from Greenbush.

In the third period, Meyer deposited a goal at 0:34 with helpers from Runyon and Stewart.

Yellowstone’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Ottenbacher’s big night as he stopped 31 of the 32 shots he faced. Ottenbacher’s counterpart, Sakaria, also had a big night, managing to stop 43 of 50, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Yellowstone Quake’s record to (42-4-0-3)
